Hopkinsville Goblins

2. Hopkinsville Goblins:

The Kelly–Hopkinsville encounter, also known as the Hopkinsville Goblins Case, is one of the most famous and well published close encounter events in the history of UFO students. The incident occurred near the hamlet of Kelly and the small city of Hopkinsville. It started on August 21, 1955 evening and continued till next morning. There were many eyewitnesses for this event including two families, several policemen and other civilians. The witnesses state that they heard many voices and flash of lights in the night and saw five glowing, three feet tall, silvery creatures. They appeared with upright pointed ears, thin limbs, long arms and claw-like hands or talons and were floating above the ground. On the evening of August 21, 1955, while Billy Ray Taylor was visiting one of his friends home for dinner saw flashes of light in the sky and he called others outside. They saw the creature approaching them within a distance of about 20 feet; the men started shooting at it. Then the creature suddenly fled in to darkness. When a man stepped outside to search for the silvery creature a taloned hand from the roof touched him. For the next few hours the household members witnessed it floating in the air.
